In this video, I look at what it is to "journey well".  By this I mean clear journeys and ones that receive healing information (divination) and healing energetics or transmission (application and results).

You have to get very clear.  You have to be able to step out of your belief systems to such a degree that you do not get in the way of what is needed.  All at the same time, you are monitoring safety for yourself and others.

This is possible!  Yet, it requires an understanding of light and shadow within yourself, a ground, and a connection to the heart centre. (I speak about these aspects in the first videos of this series. Click here to watch them.)

While the shamanic journeys are beautiful, colorful and filled with information and insights, they are not escapes from this world.  And they too, can be filled with many challenges.  Ultimately, the journeys are travels within this reality... only they present perspectives that are often not...

I created this series to look in detail at spiritual healing and the shamanic practitioner who has honed their skills to that of a spiritual warrior.

All of this in hope that something here resonates with you, inspires you to continue, and finds you weaving your gifts together.

This week, I would like to highlight the importance of the Sacred Heart and its gifts of navigation and discernment.  Having discovered both your light and your shadows, developed a ground that opens your perception, you naturally have come into your sacred heartspace.

Here we are in the 3rd video of this series, "The Ground We Stand On".  I share with you the specific understanding of grounding that comes into our shamanic world view.  I will never forget that my teacher, Steve Serr said that the shaman is the most grounded person you will meet.This resonated in my heart.  I could feel it in my bones.

Sure, we fly, we speak to spirits, we travel worlds, and we see things very differently than most people walking around today in our daily life.  Yet, the ground is essential.  And we do not take this for granted.  It is the ground itself that allows us to do what we do.

I share with you today a new audio/ video about the shamanic healing technique of cutting cords.

This is the 2nd in a series of teachings that explore well-practiced shamanic healing techniques in the hopes that we can 'shed light' upon these practices and help you to open your understanding to their depth and possibility.

Like everything in shamanism...there are nuances, subtleties and oftentimes surprising revelations that expand these healings beyond their common or everyday surface assumptions.

Cutting cords is a perfect example.

In this audio/ video I begin the opening process for you.  What I mean is that each practice has an unending exploration available to us.

Of course it does!  This is the magnificence of the Universe.

I have been wanting to record a series of audios and videos about the various techniques and modalities that are often found in shamanic healing across the planet.   Most of these are shared amongst many peoples.

I feel that one of the main teachings that you will find here... is that shamanic healing is not just a collection of techniques.

You cannot just 'order -up' a Spirit Animal retrieval or a Soul retrieval and call that shamanism.  Just as you cannot light some sage, bang a drum and call it shamanism.

These can be found in many shamanic healing sessions, and yet they are simply tools and techniques for something that is much further reaching.  Something that can withstand all time and space... across cultures, languages, and beliefs.

I believe that we here at Shaman College hold a reverence and a steady inquiry into the hollow bone that is shamanic healing...

Development of your practice must be just as much about your grounded presence as it is about travelling distant worlds.

In this video, I explore the many timelines that we travel and weave within shamanic healing.  Often people are familiar with the multiple realms that exist in shamanic consciousness, but less is known about the multiple times that practitioners access.

All of this is possible through the grounded presence here.  This present moment is where everything exists.  This moment is your portal to all.  It is also the place where the grounded shamans breathe...

Hello Dear Shaman College Community,

This week's audio/ video addresses how we may work with the aspect of the mind that questions, doubts, and holds you back.

You have likely come across this voice within your shamanic and spiritual work.

"Is that real?" 

"Am I making this up?" 

"Is this a true message?"

"Can I do that?"

These types of questions often arise early in one's shamanic studies.  And I do not feel that they are a 'bad' thing.  Quite the opposite, I find they are asking you to go further, explore more, and ask more.

Other pieces may arise within more advanced work but everyone can share in this looking because of its relevance to our ordinary world existence.  I am talking about fear.  When you can become conscious of this fear energy, you can feel when it arises within yourself, and you can hear when it is coming from outside of yourself.  From there, you can assess its truth or non-truth.  You get to choose whether or not you are...

This video message comes from the site for a new healing space here in Belize.  It feels good to connect to you from this location... even though it hasn't been fully completed in this realm yet!

When patterns and themes come up through my communications with people at Shaman College, I know it is a message to share these pieces with you.

Today, I want to look at the foundations of safety and effectiveness in our practices.

I know that our work can be powerful and effective, while being safe.  I feel strongly that we can do this amazing healing work and be ethical and clear.  (This is a big topic - and today's sharing begins the discussion.)

I want you to know that safe shamanic practice honours your power and potential.  Safe shamanic practice also honours the power in the practice itself.  Without these two threads... one can wander into tricky situations.

Shamanism is not the easiest path, yet it is divinely beautiful.  We are not 'joking' around or...

For this video, I recommend that you join me as if we are sitting together.  It is a longer one and I felt so many of you gathered together.  It is as if many of us were together and the messages were coming through.

The explorations include: diving into our own unfolding, true self, erasing the linear timeline, multiple realms coexisting, grounding in the heartbeat/ heart resonance.

Hello dear Shaman College Community,

I am inspired to share with you some insights coming from our group and the process in our course, Your Spirit Allies. 

In this video I introduce the spirit allies that I lovingly refer to as our Ancient Soul Ancestors or the Wisdom Keepers.  These beings were two-legged's, they had a human heart, a crown to the heavens and light in their eyes,  They lived here and breathed here... and they bless our existence.

How can we connect to them if we cannot see them?  How can we receive them if we cannot hear them?

It is through our shared presence and our shared human experience that we can find them.  They are in our bones, our footsteps and in our reverence for Mother Earth.

I urge you to get less personal, and more global when you connect to these allies. They are not 'yours', they are here for all of us.  Instead of looking at one persona, you must tap into the power, potential and love that exists as a human medicine....
